Strange water sound on revs

Just bought a 92 4x4 pickup std cab with 172K on the clock. It makes a strange sloshing, water sound when I rev the engine...any ideas? Also, anything else I should be wary about as this is my first Toyota and the previous owner had no clue/records of any maintenance. It starts/drives super though in the short 3 days that i've owned it.

check your intake.. Mine made a similar sound when my filter was caked in dirt and again when I removed the filter all together when it got super wet.. There is a deep weird water sounding tone from the intake box when things are amiss.

Could the sound be coming from your heater core? If so it's probably air bubbles.

That sounds logical as it sounds as if the water is bubbling right in the cabin...should I be worried?

check your coolant level, probably replace your thermostat, even replace your rad cap to make sure it's letting pressure out.. You shouldn't have a heater core acting like a tea kettle dude.
