Tail Light Failure Sensor ??

Are there 2 different TLF sensors for the Gen 4? ....one for cars with the spoiler and one for cars that dont have one?

Probably, because the of the LED CHMSL on the spoiler. Their current draw needs to be measured differently.

OK....thats what I thought. I added the factory spioiler to my gen4 and the light on the dash is on. Guess I need to start tracking down some part numbers.....

I did this and the trick is to leave in the original 3rd brake light. Just take your two wires from the spoiler and shove them into the 3rd brake light connector (female end) and then slide the connector with the wires into the original socket it was in.

No more lights, no headache and no police officers saying youve got a burnt out brake light since now you have 4

I am having the same problem as Letsride. Any one find out about the different failure modules.

This isn't an option having the high mount brake light and the spoiler brake light just looks dumb.

PVT there are actually 2 different TLF sensors for the Camry like I thought. I was able to source one from the junk yard and it worked perfectly.
